Hi all, I’m pregnant with our second and are struggling to come up with a boys name that we like. We have a girls name picked. We live in the UK. Our son is called Rory, so we’d like something similar in style, I.e. relatively safe / traditional but not as common as the most popular ones (George, Oliver etc.). Last name starts with an E so would probably avoid names that start with E, and like our first son we’ll pick two middle names (one from each side of the family), so hoping the first name will be on the shorter side.
Any bright ideas?!

@boymama4two,
thank you! Lots of names I like in that list, but have discounted for various reasons (like friends have kids with the same names)….it’s so hard!

We have a Rory and are also struggling with a boy name for our second! The only name that I'm currently considering is Niall, although I do have a cousin called Niall, but we don't see him often. So hard!

@Snowdrop23,
isn’t it! We quite like Benjamin (nn Benji) but worried it’s a bit old school, and a bit long…

@billabella,
I like Benjamin but it doesn't work with our surname - starts with a B so then just sounds like Benjamin bunny 🤦🏼♀️
