Creating easy but still delicious recipes is one thing that I have found very useful.While I love cooking everything from scratch, sometimes shortcuts are good.

When I found out about Immaculate Baking Company I knew I had to try some of the products to help with this. One thing I’m going to do is use a package of their organic crescent rolls in place of my normal homemade rolls this Christmas. You still get delicious, hot from the oven rolls but with so much less work.

I also want to pick up some of their organic cinnamon rolls to make on Christmas Eve morning as a nice treat. They have so many great organic products as well as gluten-free options. You can also use their products to make your own holiday dessert recipes.

I wanted to make a holiday dessert using leftover cranberry sauce but wanted it to be very simple. Immaculate Baking Company’s organic crescent rolls gave me the inspiration to make a cranberry cream cheese danish recipe. They are delicious and impressive but also simple.

I have foundImmaculate Baking Company products at my localWhole Foods. They have a great selection of their products and other great baking supplies.I was able to get all of my ingredients for the danishes at Whole Foods, even the parchment paper, and sandwich bags to use as piping bags. When you are picking up your crescent rolls go ahead and get a few packages. You can use them for this cranberry cream cheese Danish recipe as well as a couple of recipes from this list of 27+ crescent roll dough recipes!

Once you have your ingredients gathered this recipe is really easy to put together. Be sure to start by pre-heating your oven to 350 degrees.

Once that is done go ahead and remove rolls from the container, do not unroll them. Instead of unrolling, you want to use a sharp knife to make 8 slices.

Place each dough slice on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet and using your fingers flatten each roll building a small wall around the edges.

Using an electric mixer, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth, spoon a small dollop of this mixture onto each danish. Add a teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes. While they bake you want to make the glaze. To make the glaze combine the milk and sugar. Once they are done, let them cool and add the glaze by using a pastry bag or a sandwich bag with the end clipped to drizzle.

Yield: 8 danishes

Ingredients

  • 1 can Immaculate Baking Company Organic Crescent Rolls
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 8 teaspoons cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Remove rolls from the container, do not unroll them.
  3. Using a sharp knife make 8 slices.
  4. Place each dough slice on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
  5. Using your fingers or a measuring cup flatten out each roll building a small wall around the edges.
  6. Using an electric mixer, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
